Aura Expansion

Share this class:

Placing our bodies into archetypical postures (asanas) causes the energy within our system to flow more efficiently. As we utilize the breath through pranayam we are able to control the chattering of the mind and reprogram it through the use of mantras and affirmations.

Once in a state of balance we can supercharge our bio-computers with prana and ride the force of creation to our fullest potential!

Yoga is not an intellectual exercise. Its a holistic experience for your body and mind. Inhale up, shoulders are back, chin is down, everything in line, pull the spine, lower centers sealed up. Vibrate upwards, change the frequency. You are coming from the heart. Compassion, selflessness. Exhale relax your breath, eyes are closed, spine is straight.

To Be A Real Human Being

Discovering tools that we can use daily to energize our bio-computers when our operating system is overloaded with spam and junk mail. Activating and balancing our energy centers and learning to gather and move life force through our body to create the beautiful radiant humans that we truly are.

Be very conscious of your breath as you practice yoga online. The breath is how you control this bio-computer. You’ve taken the time, your life, to program it so far. The only way to gain control of it is through your breath. So be conscious of each breath. See if you can actually stay with the breath and not be distracted by your mind. Not let yourself daydream. Not think of something else that you’d rather be doing. Just be here now. Inhaling Wah, Exhaling Guru, long and deep. Watch yoga videos to see how best to do it.

Triangle pose is one of those positions where if you practice it, it tells you what is wrong with your body. If it’s hard for you, or if there’s pain in your side for example, then there is a problem with either your gallbladder or your liver. So the idea is to do this pose for a minute each day and just take an inventory of your body. See how your feel. Cause it should be natural and easy. It aligns the magnetic field. It puts all the meridians back in the proper frequency. A really simple exercise, but it requires that you just take a minute and do it.

When we do a set of exercises, it’s called a kriya. We do a set of exercises that flow together and that hopefully have a theme. The theme tonight is overall health of your body physically, the strength of your aura, your frequency and your magnetic field.

We are beings of light that inhabit this physical body, this human archetype, this journey of DNA that we’ve all made. The idea in yoga gives you the power to have the control, not only of this body, but of your mind. You have to make that distinction, as a yogi, between you and your mind. That means you have to go into meditation, deep silence within, and try to find your real essence, the light that illuminates this body. That’s really the purpose of this life.

The purpose of this class is to give you some clues through our yoga videos about how to get back to that point of origin, that point that we all started from, that bindu, that place where it took two bodies to make one.

So it’s your job as a human being, a being with an aura, a hue, to find the origin of that aura, of that light. Differentiate that light and the physical manifestations, the symptoms, of that light. So you have to have a discerning intellect. Doesn’t mean you have to be intellectual. It just means you have to be aware and not be taken in by the illusion that’s constantly put in front of you, not only this material world but of your own mind. You have to have that discerning part of you that sits back in this body cave and observes the truth with joy and wonder, because it is an infinite horizon that you live on. That infinite horizon is always beckoning. You have to be able to stand on the precipice of that horizon, that cliff overlooking all eternity. You have to have the presence of mind to just laugh and be joyful in that experience.

Hold the breath. Seal off the lower triangle. Put a pressure at the sphincter muscle, put a pressure at the diaphragm. Physically feel as through you’re pulling the energy upward or sealing off the lower centers. You’re eliminating the leaks of consciousness, the leaks of energy. Exhale. Relax your breath, long and deep. Stay centered within.

“Grace is the strength of Character to be you, and never let yourself down, or anyone else down.“ - Yogi Bhajan

Guru Ram Das. Guru Guru Waheguru. Sat siri. Sat Nam. We're about to rock a class on grace, grace as it pertains to our identities. Lift the sternum into the thumbs, elongate the head. Take a few deep breaths.

Let's synch our breaths together, squeeze out all the air, inhale inhale inhale, hold the breath, exhale. Ong Namo Gurudev Namo. Inhale deeply, connect with the sweet breath, connect with your soul right now, the base frequency beneath all experience. Connect with the soul's destiny, the bright light, all you we're meant to be.

Feel yourself being fully capable to be everything you are here to do, everything you are here to be. Breathe long and deep. Bring the legs together and stretch them into infinity. The neck comes into alignment. Keep the pelvis tilted up so the pelvis stays on the floor and keeps your back safe.

Blossom with each breath. What's perfect about the block? What is the opportunity to learn? How can I grow right now? This is grace. This is what blossoms us into learning what we have been resisting. Keep blossoming. In every moment whether we think there's something wrong or not, we have the opportunity to remember that we are divine, and that we belong to the divine.

In my myself I am yours. Even when life throws us a curveball, we can say "That's weird, but divine, I belong to you." Feel your gorgeous center. Resplendent.

Inhaling forward, exhaling back, inhaling Sat, exhaling Nam. It's the power of the rhythm with the breath, with the Mantra, that makes Kundalini Yoga so effective. The rhythm, with breath, with mantra. The three together catalyze your energy, catalyze you at a cellular level, in a way that you can experience your greatness in a way that you've never seen before. Catalyze your greatness and stick to it.

Your neck is the sacred bridge between your heart and your body. Show your love here, your conscious breath, your conscious motion. When you come into being with the truth of all things, you realize that it is always the choice to be a victim or a winner. It is how we tell the stories of our lives that creates new desires in ourselves to be liberated. Allow the self to be liberated and spoken.

This is called "Developing the power to win". This is a strong and fluid motion. Feel your body gaining strength. Do it as you listen to the mantra - "I am thine in my myself". Let your rhythm sync up to the rhythm of the music. Go within, and contemplate the very possibility that you belong to the divine. I am think in mine myself, Waheguru."

Cooking the Navel Chakra

Share this class:

When negative energy from the heart is invoked and dislodged it must be sent down to the Navel Chakra. The nervous strength of the Navel Chakra must be increased to hold the discursive energies from the subconscious long enough to transform them into vitality. These kriyas create a place of focus that does not move in the midst of dynamic energies, automatically increasing willpower and concentration.

This is very important, even when your mind wanders, bring your attention back to the third chakra. Bring your back straight, choose to bring in fresh new energy back into the body. Don't sit rigid, relax your shoulders, relax your jaw, be feeling that you are sitting within this big sphere of energy, and yet focus, keep it centered in the belly, don't let it go spinning off into space.

Dragon breath, breath of fire is vigorous, creating heat. You are using your willpower, and it's very much connected to the idea that whatever you put into this class, you get out of it...Concentrate, breathe powerfully. Keep the energy inside the sphere. Don't let the mind wander, try to keep the mind concentrated through the entire class. It's almost impossible to do but the effort is what you need to capture the kundalini with, the prana. Real powerful, concentrate, breathe powerfully.

This is where you are telling the subconscious mind to keep all the energies down in the belly. Inhale more, stay concentrated in your sphere. Relax

"Kundalini Yoga consists of active and passive asana-based kriyas, pranayama, and meditations which target the whole body system (nervous system, glands, mental faculties, chakras) to develop awareness, consciousness and spiritual strength." —Yogi Bhajan

Gathering and Preserving Prana (Life Force)

Share this class:

As we focus the mind on the single intention of gathering energy and silencing the mind we allow ourselves the ability to transcend unconsciousness. Full of prana to sustain us we are able to go beyond the limitations of the mind and body. This is where real meditation starts.

We can sit and chant for hours, but unless we have the strength and willpower to practice yoga online and maintain the conscious state of being we all slip back into the dream state. Keep Up.

Think of this body as a conduit and receptacle for energy, life force. Most people live in their first three centers. Most people’s energy gets lost, leaks out through survival (living in this material world), through the sexual impulses (the most common one in this country), and through power (manipulating this world). The idea is you practice yoga seal off those lower centers. You eliminate those leaks of consciousness. You take that same energy and you transmute it. You transmute the base energy into spiritual, compassionate heart energy. It’s the same energy. Everything is the same. It’s the same currency we all use.

You take that base energy and you seal off the leaks, otherwise it just leaks out. It’s the same life pranic force. One of the ways of doing it is mulbandh, by pulling the root lock, pulling the sphincter muscle tight, diaphragm in, and physically sealing off the energy. Physically is just part of it, but you visually have to go within and feel the lower triangle as being sealed off. The energy is bouncing off the muladhara, starting that pathway the double helix back upwards. In the center of that swirling energy you are sitting and the white light is beckoning you. You start that elevator ride back up through the evolutionary chain, through all the possible dimensions, through all the different portals of consciousness, back to the white light. That’s what we do. We're here to create kundalini awakening.

Inhale. Stretch up. Pull the root lock. Put a pressure at the diaphragm. Pull the energy upward. Create this archetype form of consciousness where the energy is swirling upwards now. Exhale.

All the beauty, all the love, all the possible permutations are within your own self. All the personalities, all the incarnations are within your DNA cycle. We share that DNA. We share that double helix. That pattern, that template of consciousness, is the same template that you use in this spiritual journey. You place yourself in the center of that, as you have always been. You use that to elevate yourself out of this gravity well that we all live in, where light itself can escape. The idea that we are beings of light trapped in this body, trapped in this form, trapped in this gravity well, this singularity of consciousness. The way out is to become weightless. The way out is to seal off the energy and float upwards in the central channel of consciousness. So you have to become very small, as well as very large.

Strengthening the lower centers. Relax your breath, long and deep. Don’t let your mind wander. Stay present to this yoga training. Be aware of your breath. This will be your test in life of course, to always bring yourself back to the breath. You’ll learn that in this class if nothing else. In times of most stress, the times of the most problems in your life, the times when time itself becomes the darkest. Watch the full-length yoga class. That’s the time you come back to your breath and you remember who you really are. You remember that you are the light of this consciousness. This play of light and energy is you. That’s what it is, a play.

The Ocean of Consensus Reality

Long and deep breathing. Don’t be distracted by your mind. Go within now and feel that light. Feel yourself before you were actually born. Feel that state of consciousness that you had before you actually emerged into this body. As the Zen master would say, “See your face before you were born.” What was that face? Meditate deeply on that. What is that essence of you that is and animates this body? What is that essence of you that transcend life and death? What is that continuity of consciousness that crosses over dream to wake, sleep to awakened consciousness? What is that thread that let’s you travel between those two points? How do we make that transition? We do it every time we go to sleep, but how do we do it consciously? How do we walk in our dreams consciously, and why shouldn’t we? How do we traverse between life and death? Why shouldn’t we? Why shouldn’t we consciously? It’s about frequency of vibration. If you exist in the first three centers you become trapped, and your conscious cannot make that transition between wake and sleep, between life and death. If you elevate your heart center you become light enough, free enough, that the transition between the truth of who you are and your consciousness is made.

This is balancing the lower spine, the first three centers. Just by doing these simple exercises you change everything in your life. Your life becomes perfect. It’s that simple, but you have to do it.

The transition between life and death. We should have that power as the transition between sleep and wake. It requires that you balance your energy. It requires that you seal off your lower centers. It requires that you don’t leak out. It requires that your intent of consciousness is to become awake, not more asleep. To make your intent, and always define your intent to yourself, is very yogic and very helpful. Make a declaration to yourself of your intent in life. If your intent is to become awake, if your intent is to become conscious of that passageway between wake and sleep, between life and death, this is the path of kundalini yoga.

We all make that transition. We just don’t make it consciously. By sealing off the lower centers, taking that same energy and sitting yourself in the center of that swirling energy totally relaxed, totally at peace. Feeling those currents of energy creating a vacuum that actually floats you upwards in the center. As your sitting in the swirling of energy, the filaments are lit up. You become merged in the light of the universe. That light of the universe is the same as your light. The two lights merge into each other, the prana and the apana. It happens at the heart.

You have to stretch your spine. Find a rhythm. Inhaling Wah, Exhaling Guru. Wah means infinity. Guru means dispeller of darkness, the enlightener. Not a person, although it can be many persons. If you’re a Christian, it’ll be Jesus. It doesn’t really matter. The idea is that your enlightener is the one that takes the darkness away. Whoever that is for you, whatever that is for you, is the guru.

Following the breath, sealing off lower triangle, using the mind to free itself. (programming default modes in your bio-computer to infinite horizons. The tools to watch your mind from the perspective of pure awareness. Balance and Joy!
